£50 Kitten Pack
Give your kitten the best possible start!
Welcoming a new kitten into the family is an exciting time for everyone. To take away the stress (and the expense) of planning for their early health care, let us present to you our Kitten Pack!
It isn't nice to see a cat/kitten in a state of pain or discomfort, especially when the cause of the problem could have been easily kept at bay. For this reason, preventative health care is really important - especially for young kittens as they are particularly susceptible to:
Your kitten can be vaccinated from the age of 6-8 weeks. You'll need to bring them in every year or so for a booster but their primary treatments, when they're at a tender age, are extremely important.
It's important to keep those nasty parasites at bay. As with diseases and infections, fleas and ticks are especially dangerous to younger animals. Fleas can cause severe discomfort and, in some cases, a bad allergic reaction. Worms are even worse: they can also spread to humans and even cause blindness - especially to children.
Safe to say, it's best to keep your kitten protected at all times and from a young age.
A microchip means your cat can always be identified. The procedure is quick, painless and the chip is almost too small to notice. Once microchipped, your kitten's data will be stored onto a database, meaning that if they wander off at any point in their life, whoever finds them can take them to be scanned - they'll find all the relevant details on the database and can set about returning your feline friend to where they belong!
